I run Concrete Pool Renovation — a Brisbane-based business that renovates, resurfaces, and repairs concrete pools across North Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Over nearly 40 years, I've walked into hundreds of backyards with green pools, scaly tiles, broken filters, and water that was burning people's eyes. And in almost every case, the problem was preventable — if the owner had just known what to do.

The advice online is terrible. Most pool care websites are either trying to sell you something, written by people who've never tested a pool in their life, or just regurgitate the same generic content that doesn't account for Australian conditions — our harsh summers, our water quality, our sun.
